Hey Guys,

I've got a new PSA 20" FN upper and I'm about to take it out for it's maiden voyage. I was doing my usual break-in regime and after applying a foaming bore cleaner noticed that a good bit had leaked from the GI front site base. My Bravo AR does not do this, and I was curious if I should go shoot the upper, or just send it back now?

Anyone else's AR do this? Thoughts?

It's fine. After a few magazines the carbon build up will make a nice seal.

Normal. Gas will also leak from the FSB when you shoot.

+1  I have noticed some degree of gas leakage from nearly every AR that I have owned through the years. FWIW, my PSA 20" FN upper runs fine.
