I've got a Colt LE6920 that I've had for a while now.  I noticed shortly after buying it, that the selector switch stops on the lower receiver were ground off.  If you look hard enough, you can see the grinding swirls where the stops once were.  It doesn't affect how it shoots and I've not read/heard anyone else complaining of this "problem", so I'm kind of curious why Colt would grind them off. It was bought from a reliable dealer suggested on this forum, so while it did cross my mind, I don't think its a forgery.  Any thoughts?

Just something weird they do. They make, or use to make, a 4 position fire control group, this was necessary for 360 degrees rotation of the selector. I guess they just havent changed.
