| I have a colt m4 16" upper that I'm tossing around selling. It has a smith vortex FH, Larue 9.0 handguard with a vltor low pro gas block, LMT front sight "not flip up", no rear sight, CL 1/7 twist. It had approx 2k rounds down range. I'm selling it without the BCG. What is a good asking price? I'm planning on buying a 12.5 Kino from BCM to run with a can.. |

I'd ask $350––400.
It's a Colt, but it's a bit of a franken upper now. Ironically, you would probably get the same amount for the used 6920 upper in its original configuration in good condition. I'd reassemble the upper into its original configuration and part out the rest––assuming you can do the work yourself. Then you are looking at recouping more of your original investment, getting closer to $600. |

They go on gunbroker for closer to $800. |
For what it's worth, you can buy brand new 6920 uppers with charging handle, Matech BUIS, and BCG (with M-16 carrier) for $685 direct from Colt Part #SP6920CK HERE
ETA: They are currently out of stock, but expect to have more within two weeks. I called to check, because I recently purchased several of them and want two more. |

It's a nice collection of quality parts, but if I'm looking for a factory-correct 6920 upper, this isn't it. |

Lets say Larue 9.0 rail = 200 Colt Barrel = 180 - 200 Upper = 130 - 150 Vltor gas block stainless = 30 Smith vortex = 30 LMT front sight = 30 You would have to be foolish to only ask 400... |
