I would like to see a pic of a carbine length rifle with mid length rails if it is even possible. I was thinking of running a low profile gas block and mid length rails on my carbine if it is possible because I want to move my light and vertical gripe out a little more for a better grip.

I don't have any pics but I see no reason why that wouldn't work given the proper rail.  If a suppressor can fit under certain rails then a low profile gas block shouldn't be an issue, granted that it would most likely need to be a FF rail.

I am sure it will have to be free float as well I know that looks dont matter but you know how it is...

A midlength rail doesn't completely cover the gas block on a carbine, YHM came out with what they call a specter length to take care of this issue. I don't have that set up, but I do have a rifle length rail on a carbine.

It will work, but you will have to make sure the gas block you choose will fit under the forearm you choose.  Not all low profile blocks are low enough.  You can also use an extended carbine rail if you don't want rid of the fixed fsb... like the Troy mrf-cx.  There are a ton of pics in the tacked pic threads and some good examples on the LaRue site stealth upper section.

I'm running a 9" (midlength) LaRue on my 12.5" with carbine gas.  The gas block is completely covered by the rail.

I'm just going off this:
Specter_sm.jpg Specter vs. Midlength Forearms
YHM would like to clear up some confusion between our Midlength and Specter forearms. The Midlength forearm is designed for a MIDLENGTH gas system (A system created between rifle and carbine length gas systems). The Specter forearm is designed to cover the gas block on a CARBINE length gas system.

YHM is wrong. A middy rail will not completely cover the gas block on a middy, however, the Specter will is what they meant to say. A middy rail will completely cover the gas block on a carbine. Semantics, I know.

With the YHM rails, if you're using a carbine length gas system with a 1.9" gas block (shaved FSB, etc) the mid length rail will just barely cover the gas block.  There won't be room to put YHM's endcap on the rail.  The Specter will extend out a little further so that the endcap can be used.
