I am currently deployed to Iraq and I would like to send in a Form 1 to register one of my lowers as an SBR.  I called back home to ask for the serial number, but they are having trouble deciding if the serial number starts with CM or OM.  Can anyone help out?  I am pretty sure that it is CM, but I just want the warm fuzzy prior to sending off the paperwork.

Try asking in their industry forum

Lots of helpful people there, including Steve from RRA.

Don't rely on others to advise you what your ser# is when completing a Form 1. It's not worth taking the chance that something will get miscommunicated. What til you get home to verify for yourself or have someone back home e-mail you a high resolution pic.

Why don't you call RRA and ask if they've ever produced any lowers with a Sn# prefix of "OM".  If not, you've got it narrowed down...

In all likelyhood, it's CM followed by a space, followed by the numeric portion of the serial number.
We use several prefixes, but OM is not one of them, but CM has been for a very long time.
