OP.....just get a Magpul MOE t.g. and be done with it...if you really want to splurge get the aluminum version at half the price of the knights

I run a couple of the Magpul aluminum trigger guards and like them. It's nice to not have to fold anything down when shooting in the winter

I use standard trigger guards on all of my rifles. Never had the issue of needing or wanting more room, and even if I did, it can always fold down.
