Could anymore tell me the quality of the DSA complete lowers as compared to say Spikes or Stag?

Thanks!

I'll have one this week...will tell you my thoughts then.

I had a complete DSA lower a couple of years ago. It was just fine in all areas of quality. I ran a POF upper on it without any problems. I've never owned a Spike or a Stag lower, but I have lots of Colts and LMTs and it compared favorably with both. I wouldn't have any problem owning another.

i bought one back in March- complete lower with A2 stock for my m16 build.   fit and finish was good (fwiw); locks up nice and tight with my BM A4 upper.  I have only put a few hundred rounds through the rifle, but have not any issues yet.

My biggest complaint was their communication.  They told me my FFL was on file, but 4 days after i ordered i noticed my order was on permanent hold according to the website.  I called and they told me they needed my FFL.

After that, I would be told a ship date and when I would call it would be "the end of next week."  it didn't take that long at all to get (3.5 weeks), but I was told a much sooner date.  I never received any emails or phone calls- I always had to contact them,

It'll work. Other than that, i wouldn't buy one.
I ordered one about 2 months ago.
It had the front lugs machined too wide and they had a M4 stock body on a CAR receiver extension/ buffer tube.
They wanted me to pay return shipping back to fix it.

I've got two of them and they have both been 100%.  They compare well with the other RRA, Aero, Bushmaster, and CMMG lowers I have and have fit every upper I've tried out.  Triggers are a little heavy, but they never said they would be match grade.  Stock is plain Jane M4, but that's what they said it would be.  They are low shelf, so that's a plus.  Other than wait time, I have no complaints.

Check the industry forum for pages of feedback.

I have purchased a "bargain bin" rifel from CMMG that has a Doublestar as the lower receiver.  The Upper receiver is one made by CMMG but I cannot prove it since there are no marking on barrell and I have to go with the word of the salesman.  I have not noticed any issues with the lower receiver.  It has a tight fit with the upper with only 2 gaps that I can discern.  and they are both near the take down pins and so minute the only way I can see it is to hold the rifle up and let the sunlight show it to me.   If the price is right, you may want to keep it as an option.

DSA and Doublestar are different companies.

DSA lowers just look cheap. I'd rather have a Spikes, EA, DTI or CMMG.
