moe has the polymer trigger guard and a aluminum one.
once installed, is it a big difference in matching up the polymer to the aluminum lower, or does it match up pretty well. i'm thinking about the aluminum guard just so the color/sheen will match up. by the way, who sells the moe+grip. i havent seen anyone selling that grip. |

The black aluminum would be a better match in theory. But depends on what color your lower is. Everyones black is a little different..... black, jet black, gray black, light black.
You get the picture. The trigger guard gets a lot of use and rubbing on the color, so over time it will attain a wear shine. |
| I have installed several MOE plastic guards on my rifles. They all look just fine on all the black lowers. I also see no advantage in aluminum over plastic. They no longer release and trigger guards are not really subject to abuse. Go with the less expensive plastic ones. |

ETA: Also when using two different types of material (7075 lower and 6061 trigger guard) there is a pretty good chance that they won't be a perfect match with each other. Even if they were anodized at the same time, which they are not. So either way (plastic or aluminum) there is a good chance they won't match perfectly. I also think the plastic trigger guards fit a little better as they are a little more forgiving when things don't line up just right. |

I run an MOE guard on all of my lowers. I simply saw no advantage in the aluminum version so I sold it and bought 2 more MOEs |

You're always taking a gamble ordering anything for firearms off of ebay. A lot of times, but not always, they can be fake made in china products. Just order it from a site sponsor and add a couple magazines or something else to the order to offset the shipping cost. There is always something else we "need".
As for the MOE+ grip. They haven't been released by Magpul yet. |
