Who's got one? Who knows someone that has one? What's the deal....are they GTG or what? Im going to get one. The only thing I don't like is the hand guard.

Never heard of their product. Seems odd to remove and reattach the barrel instead of breaking down the receiver. I like mine better. That looks awesome, but a crackhead would be thinking "straight to the pawnshop" at first. After they opened it, they would be thinking "straight to the dopeman's house".
We need to figure out which case is known for holding something that is worthless. That is the one that I want to use |

I realize so it doesn't scream "gun inside", but thieves would just as likely steal a DeWalt tool as they would a weapon. just my opinion of course. i do like the foam you put in it though. |

Sorry for the hijack - I should have posted this in the post on concealed cases. Main reason was cost. Materials to do it were cheap. Dewalt is a well known name and isn't at all suspicious looking to most folks, especially in my line of work. People assume that what is written on the outside is usually what's inside. It does stay locked in the trunk with a security cable and brought inside overnight. |

I've said this before: Most cases that are large enough to hold a gun are made to hold something else worth stealing. We need to find the perfect "you don't want this" case. |

That is the one that I want to use FWIW I remember (memory being a tricky thing) reading a thread awhile back where a guy kept a pistol in a tire chain box. Said his truck had been broken into a few times, everything of value stolen but that box. |

I use an $11 Rawlings baseball gear bag from Walmart. It holds a 16" carbine perfectly. I've got my old bat sticking out of the end and a ball and batting gloves in the outer mesh pocket. I dirtied it up for realism. I can't imagine that it would be very attractive to thieves. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
