remember the informative slow motion video here last year showing the effect of different buffers on bold bounce in the AR?

I ran across this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PqAk-qianA&feature=related

this is a slick production (monogrammed gloves; bolero music, etc) of slow motion firing of an VZ58.

Notice the action at about time 3:30 sec,

Question:  is this amount of bolt bounce, albeit small, acceptable?

Are you asking if this is acceptable bounce in an AR or the VZ58?? I don't think you can compare the bounce between the two since they are completely different systems. Check out the Vurrwapen Blog website. He has some really great videos showing off high speed videos of bolt bounce with different buffers on different rifles.

Bolt bounce in an AR15 is kind of a moot point.
Unless you have super human finger speed and can pull the trigger 5 times a second.
In a M16 it can become and issue and hang up the rifle.

I don't know what the big deal about bolt bounce is. Not like you can feel it. I've yet to hang up my rifle because of it... and I can let off a string of rounds pretty fast.
