You mean FSB, FSP is "front sight post"

you can shave a FSB just as low as anything manufactured, so I say yes

EDIT: I think you also ment to say TRX,

Yes. I have an 11" TRX Extreme on a carbine gas gun with shaved FSB.

Mine and a couple others are in this thread.

I did one in place with a dremel and a single cut off wheel. Didn't have to remove the flash hider or anything. It took about 20 minutes.

I cut one down to fit under a DD Omega-X and that is pretty tight.
I like the idea of it being pinned, made of steel............and cheap.
