I am using a BCM marked Troy rear battlesight and a normal Troy front battlesight. I have the front sight bottomed out and I am still shooting 2 inches low at 50 meters. Anyone else ever experienced this?

Time to break out a file.

LOL - That is what I was planning on doing after I tried out the Magpul BUIS I have sitting in my bag. I have one of those weird eye situations where I am left eye dominant so I am forced to shoot let handed. Shoot right and I have to crank the windage, shoot left and I have to file the front sight post. FML.

I think this is highly unlikely to be your problem, but it might be worth mentioning:

I had the same problem with an M16 in Iraq. They kept telling me I was using an incorrect sight
picture. I carried that rifle in theater for the next year, only to find out after redeployment that
the barrel was bent. Awesome.

We are talking about a brand new BCM Recce 14 here. The barrel better not be bent.

Don't Troy sights come in a shorter version also?  Maybe you got the wrong front sight?

These arent the micro version. Standard M4 sights.
