I feel kind of cheap though since that is not a real eotech.  It was originally on the .22, but I slapped it on the AR just for fun.

I loved shooting my bullet hose.....the GSG was a ton of fun until it fell apart after 15K.

I was worried about mine falling apart too.  Mine is a Gen 1.  Before I even shot it I bought the upgraded screw kit from RRAGES.COM and swapped out all the torx stuff for hex head.  I don't really know what other preventative measures you could really take.  Maybe the charging handle buffer?  I don't know.  But mines been cranking away pretty good so far. About 5k down the pipe I would guess.
