I have one of the the Spikes tungsten filled buffers for my carbine. Since they don't make a rifle length, has anyone tried replacing the weights with tungsten powder? I bought a jar of it for weighting golf clubs and thought I might try it. I like the smoother/quieter action of the powder filled one. Anyone?

I don't know if its needed on a rifle.  Might be overkill, compromising the function.. maybe not.  Keep us posted.

Rifle buffers are already 100% reliable. Why try to change that?
