I noticed that there hasn't been a 14.5" pic thread from what I have found. I guess this could be similar to the M4 pic thread, but I would like to see other rifles that are 14.5" that aren't in an M4 configuration.
Sadly, I haven't gotten around to that yet.

Sorry if I have mispelled words/sentences that dont make sense...I've been playing with the firewater tonight. Cheers.

Wow...I searched abroad and could not find a 14.5" pic thread. Either my search foo was off, or I should forfeit my membership

That is a Spike's billet lower. I don't know who machines them for Spike's though.

Seekins Precision makes both the lower and upper for Spikes.  They also make the BAR and SAR rails for them. I have heard they are working on a AR-10 lower for Spikes right now too.

Awesome as always.  Slightly OT, but can you provide more details (pics?) on the rail section and light mount you used and how they worked together on the TRX at that angle?

Thanks.

The light mount is a VLTOR SM-E mount, they make different size ones to use with the different sized Surefire flashlight bodies. Here's a better shot of the mount:

The rail section is a JP rail section for use on the JP/VTAC handguard. The rail sections that come with the TRX Extreme and VTAC Extreme use backing plates with a ridge built into them that will only properly interface with the handguard at the 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00 positions. As you can see from the picture below the JP rail section and its backing piece (the top set) does not force you to use it in a specific position, so you can easily mount it at the in-between positions on the handguard.
