| I have a question about the temp of the barrel on my AR. I recently built a new rifle and i have a bipod i want to put on it, Its a quick detatch clamp on one. I don't to marr up the barrel so i was thinking of putting high temp glass tape inside the bipod.. It will withstand up to 266 degrees. This rifle will not be shot rapidly its a target rifle. If i were to shoot it rapidly i'd unclamp the bipod. Should the tape hold up to the heat? |

I have used this before:http://blackrifleworks.com/usgi-type-rifle-bipod-p-195.html
I have no idea about the vendor but its the only place I could find it for sale. Its plastic and doesn't mar the finish, but I don't know how much heat it can take though. |
