I have two up coming builds that I am trying to decide triggers for. I do not care if they are one or two stage. The first is what I'm calling my mini MK12 build. Its going to be a 12.5" SBR looking like a MK12 Mod0. The 2nd is going to be a 16" 308. I want the guns to be the most accurate as possible but really do not have to be necessarily "precesion" builds. Cost is also a factor as $200 is the most I can spend on each. Of the following triggers which one would you pick for which build?
In no order–– Bill Springfield Geissele SSA Geissele SSA-Enhanced LMT 2 stage RRA 2 stage Basic DPMS-I can't shoot that well––it doesn't matter Or something else not listed that is under $200? And I'm am still doing reading and searchs on old threads for info. |
| I personally wouldn't put a $200 trigger in a SBR. Armalite might be they way to go with the .308. Think they offer a couple of different flavors. Don't think I'd go with a modified in the .308 if shooting a lot of surplus ammo. The trigger might help a little but takes a lot more than just a trigger for a very accurate build. You should probably ask on the AR-10 forum. I also don't really associate putting a NM trigger in a 16" carbine but something with a little lighter pull and maybe smooth it out would be alright. |
