I'm looking to get a mid length 16" upper and would like to hear comments from people who have bought a CMMG. Are the worth the $$$?
Thanks, B.

The one I bought sure was worth it. M4-marked upper w/FA carrier, 16" mid-length 1:7 Med-Con C/L barrel with 'F' sight base and A2 FH.

My 14.7, rests on my LMT lower & is my goto rifle.   I have zero problems with it. Every bit "in spec"

I've got a CNMG lower that I'm happy with (I know...not your question) but I don't think that I would currently buy one of their uppers unless it was priced obscenely low. I noticed a warning on their website that your warrentee is voided if you shoot steel cased ammo in your CNMG and Wolf ammo is specifically named. They may not be the only manufacturer that has adopted this policy but they are one of the ones that I know of and I believe that an AR should be able to shoot steel cased ammo.
Sorry....I'm sure that they make really good rifles but there's no reason that an AR can't shoot steel cased ammo and I'll probably end up buying from those that don't (or I don't know about) cancel their warrentee when you shoot Wolf.

Dupe - there are lots of CMMG threads already. Here's one: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=524189&light=cmmg
