I am changing some HG's out and had to remove a front sight base that was aparently locktited on in addition to the setscrews
Is there something out there that I can use to remove the locktite from the barrel and FSB before I reasemble it.

Yea use heat to soften it up and go from there. Is the locktite blue or red?

Touch the heads of the screws with a soldering gun for a minute or two. Comes right out.

Edit -
Are the screws loctited on, or is the whole FSB? You could always go shoot it - and remove at the range. Heat from firing should loosen everything up.

Edit 2 -
Nevermind. I've surmised that you already have it off. Might try acetone (fingernail polish remover).
