I have a 16" mid length spike's upper and I'm putting it on a lower with an A2 stock. Should I use the rifle buffer or the spike's ST-T2 heavy buffer with the A2 buffer spring???? Thanks

Personally I think that http://www.heavybuffers.com/ has the best buffers.

I'm pretty sure using a carbine buffer (even a cool one) in a rifle receiver extension is on the list of bad ideas.

If you're using an A2 stock, use the A2 buffer.

Thanks guys for the quick response. I wasn't sure if the heavier rifle buffer would work with a 16" barrel.

Regardless of the barrel length, when using a rifle stock you must use the rifle buffer.

There is no choice of weights for the rifle buffer.
