| hello i was just at the local gun store looking for a lower reciever. i was planning on building my own but when i arrived i saw they had complete RRA lower with the standard parts kit and solid buttstock for 289.00. i realized that building with the standard parts i was looking at would have cost about the same or more. they told me they also sell the same reciever with a match trigger for around 370.00. they didnt have any in stock so i was not able to get to look at it or much else for information. my question is if the match trigger is worth the extra 80 dollars or if there is certain types of match triggers that would and wouldnt be worth the price. any help is appreciated! |

It depends on what type of shooting you are doing. I have a question though. How would it cost you $270 to build a lower by yourself? Palmetto State Armory is having a sale on their LPKs and lowers so right now you could get a lower and LPK from them for around $120 minus shipping and transfer. Then, a stock assembly is around $60, so the whole lower would be around $180. That is $90 cheaper. |

Most people recommend against two stage triggers in self defense/fighting etc ar15s. If this is your first ar15 I would tend to say get one with a regular trigger, course if you are putting a rifle together for coyote hunting, get the two stage. edit sorry did not see your last post, for hunting and target shooting I'd probably spring for the two stage trigger
