Are the millspec DSA 6-Position Buffer Tube Assembly Kit  GTG or not?

I hope so because I have one.

GTG, never heard of any issues

They are not really GTG, they are made of 6061 and not 7075 aluminum. Plus I do not believe their threads are cold rolled like a true mil-spec RE.

+1, QFT. Not forged either. Extruded.

I guess I should have responded with the DSA buffer tube will work just fine.  People on this board get all bent out of shape if it doesn't follow the TDP.  DSA has sold thousands of these tubes and I have yet to hear of any problems with these buffer tubes.  If this is a SHTF rifle you may want to get one that follows the TDP but the DSA buffer is good enough for 99% of the population.

QFT.

Like 6061 is actually tin foil.

DSA is not going to be as robust as BCM or Vltor among a few others, but quite GTG for almost any application.  Good quality and value, just not "spare no expense".
