I have a flat top LMT 14.5" M4 upper with a font sight post that is marked with a number 2. There is another marking right next to the number 2, but I can't make it out.
I have a carry handle that's marked with a A 10. I believe it's an A, but it may be something else.

Are these paired up correctly? I'm almost to the extreme left side on my rear sight adjustment and I had to move the front sight post way up.
I though the front sight should be marked with an 'F' but I can't find any other markings on it.
Is there a way to tell if I have the right pairing of irons?

Thanks

If you indeed have a LMT upper then the FSB is F height, it just isn't marked since LMT doesn't stamp their FSBs with an F. It's unknown if your carry handle sight is mil-spec or commercial height. Post a pic of the side of the handle & we will be able to advise you.

ETA: The forge markings you described have nothing to do with the "proper pairing" of the sights.

Would an 'F' height front sight post use a mil spec carry handle?
thanks for the help guys!

Yes, the "F" marked front sight base will line up (on the same plane) with a mil-spec carry handle.
