As much as I love Larue, I would go with the BCM, take the money you save and put towards a lower or ammo or something else

the BCM is 200 bucks cheaper but I love Larue also, I need good reasons to chose one or the other, experiences with both anyone?

I have bought several things from both but not any uppers .  They both make great top quality products, and both have great customer service, I would get the BCM and the Larue rail and have the best of both worlds, and use the $200 for something else (ammo, lower ect.)  Just my .02

good point, I guess it boils down the the BCM hammer forged barrel or Larues barrel, any clues on which is better? I know both are great barrels

What do you plan to do with it?

In that case I would get the BCM"s hammer forged barrel, not saying Larue is bad or anything but I've read a ton of post saying that BCM's hammer forged barrels would last more then 20,000 rounds (correct me if I'm wrong)

Doubtful you'd be shooting the larue hard enough to burn the barrel out (as someone is surely going to chime in with considering it's a SS barrel...), but i'd lean towards the bcm just because of your target use (harder running vs accuracy)

That said, I love my stealth for precision work

For a SBR, I'd go BCM.  LaRue uppers weigh more.
