| Can anyone tell me what a CMT (Continental Machine & Tool) lower is worth? It is actually stamped CMT and not STAG. |

I have only seen a few of them and wished I had jumped at the opportunity to buy one. They look pretty cool and have a globe logo on them.
If my memory serves me right, it is just like the company logo in the upper left hand corner on their homepage.Continental Machine and Tool CMT makes lowers for other folks. For me, I wouldnt pay more than another forged lower would be worth but someone out there may pay more for the scarce/collectible nature of this lower. |
| Being that CMT has been making M16 and AR15 parts since the Vietnam war and that CMT makes parts for lots of other folks to resale (like upper and lower recievers) I'd say its the same value as any other decent lower. The rare aspect of it is really cool though and I'd pay a few extra bucks for the rare roll mark. But thats just me. |

I remember seeing that a while ago. It's not that bad of a price if you sell off the pricey accessories, or, of course, if you want all of those exact parts. |
