Anyone run across a good multi-tool for the AR15?  The one on Brownells site made by DPMS has a lot of poor reviews.  Any experience from the one on Bushmasters site?  Or...

Brownells also has a Smith Enterprise wrench.  Try that one.  That is the one I have and it has worked fine for years.

I have the DPMS and have no complaints. I have used it to build 5 rifles and have changed several other barrels also. If it breaks, ill try something else, but so far it has worked as advertised.

Same here for the DPMS. Its worked good for me, and seems to have plenty of heft.

I like the Bushy armorer's tool and the Gerber multi-tool.

I like the Gerber e-FECT multi tool  but don't have one yet. It would be a nice tool to put on my IOTV for ranges. I don’t go anywhere without my Samson Filed Survivor. I have one for my work gun and one for my personal AR’s.

The DPMS wrench is fine for most things, but it sucks for removing castle nuts. I use the RRA stock wrench for that after the nub sheared off the DPMS tool and ruined a castle nut. I wasn't pleased with its performance in that situation. That part of the tool is poorly designed.

I really like the Gun Tech wrench I purchased from JSE Surplus. It relpaced the out of spec Bushmaster wrench I had.

I can't comment on the others, but I have the Guntech wrench.  I've used it for MANY upper builds.  It's worked well enough for me.  The only problem that I've had with it is that with some barrel nuts, it will slip at over 50lbs or torque.  It just won't stay squared up.
