| Shot my new LMT today. I have a new Defender lower with standard trigger. I have no idea what the stock trigger pull weight is. The trigger pull felt very heavy to me. Without having to replace the entire trigger, can I lighten up the trigger pull by replacing the trigger spring? if so, suggestions on what spring to buy? |

Look into a different rigger group or having Bill Springfield work on the one you have. The search function will turn up plenty of info on those two options |

Depends I guess on what you are used to.
A battle rifle (mil spec) trigger isn't supposed to be good in the match/target rifle sense of the word and for good reason. I have a couple of stock LMT triggers and they're just fine for a working gun...if you're gonna bench rest it then you might want to upgrade. |
