For my next build I want a 16" mid length HB. fluted with a 1:7 or 1:8 twist and threaded. Do you guys know where I can find this? The closest I came up with has 1:9 twist.

may have to $$$$talk$$$$ to someone about making you one from scratch.
depends on how hung up you are on the twist.

wow I couldn't find one at all. Sorry!

Would it be a possibility to get a longer HB and send it to ADCO for a cut/fluting? like ^he said its gonna be expensive

In the "Not Cheap" category, Sabre Defence has stainless barrels with 1/8" twist that matches your description.

SOG Armory has fluted some M4 profile barrels that I believe are 1/7" twist, but I can't find listings for just the barrels.  You may have to call to find out more.

I'll drop Adco a line and see what they can do. I saw this barrel at a gun show 2 -years ago and haven't seen it since. It's weight is less than the standard barrel.

18" fluted barrels are available from Bravo Co, but they have a rifle gas system (if that's an issue for you).

Talk to Carl @ Black Hole Weaponry.

I have 2 of his barrels now and the both shoot great.

Check out BlackHole Weaponry. They made me a 16-inch midlength 1:8 stainless barrel, and they offer fluting for an extra $75

I have a 16" Lothar Walther Barrel in stainless that is a midlength and is fluted with a 1/8 twist rate.  They do not come threaded though, but any gunsmith can do that for you for pretty cheap.  Definitely not the cheapest barrel at about $500 but it is a tack driver, I have shot under .5 moa with good trigger, acog, good ammo and a couple other goodies.

Thats some Unbelievable shooting with an ACOG regardless of whether or not it was 5 or 10 shot groups! Was this done in a lead sled, bench bagged, or shouldered and at what distance? I know LW makes a hell of a barrel but thats PHENOMENAL shootin! M4QUADRAIL
