I have an upper that I have had for years and cant remember if the brake is pinned or not. I can't get the damn thing to budge to save my life. It's 16" w/o the brake, so no legal issues. I think I put this one together 5 years or so ago. Any ideas?

If it was a barrel from the 90's ban time frame. It is pinned and possibly blind pined and welded.

There are a few people around here that have the ability to remove it and save the threads... if it has any.
