I think he means putting two 30 rounders together to make one 60 rounder.

Although I'm not sure.

This FTW. After all, the point of joining two mags together is to have two on the rifle and the Redi-mag is the best way to have two mags on the rifle IMO.

Theres no way to to do this and it be even slightly reliable in any sense of the word.

There was a fellow at a silencer shoot that had two steel Ar 30 rnd mags welded, four AR 32 rnd 9mm mags welded together
and they all worked great in his FA lowers.
I bet it took some tinkering and tuning to get them reliable.

Tell this guy that and he will prove you very wrong as he had many different guns with many super extra
long welded mags that he was doing mag dumps all day and never had a problem.
I have video of the AR 223 extra long mag dumps but I need to find them on a 500 gig hard drive

These are the best mag couplers I've used. (not that I'm a big fan of mag couplers generally).

I was thinking that to but after a while the glue gets gooey and they start shifting around. I used to have 3 sets that I notched with my dremel and JB welded together. They never came apart.

I like Mag cinche or a small block of wood between 2 mags and electrical tape..that will do it as well.

Since you might be posting from Canada... I'm surprised nobody brought this gem up (since it is purpose built for Canadians):

Don't try this with 30rd mags...

Well I've been known to be wrong once or twice

I bet it took a looooot of trial and error.

Has anyone tried the coupler from CAA? I was going to buy one at one point, but wound up changing my mind.

I think i remember seeing something about Pmags and a conversion kit that would change it into a extra-high-cap magazine.

ETA: Found it, its a peice from California Competition Works here, though I'm not to sure about export laws and Pmags, and if this would work with an Emag.
