Very nice. I've got an M&P 9, but no MP rifle. You probably want one now too haha. I love mine, its the first AR for me and Its eaten over 1900 rounds without any issues. My 40 has been "bet your life reliable" too. I will say though that I enjoy shooting my XD alot more. The Mp has slower follow up shots and the trigger is hard to get down. If you get the pistol you have to get the rifle too, that way you match

| Whats the specs on your mounted light on the rifle? What mount did you use. I just ordered a tlr-3 for my Pistol and I'm looking for a light for my rifle. Surefire is way overrated and over priced. I have some good weapon lights from 4sevens and streamlight but I need to find a mount. Maybe I'll just use some aluminum scope rings |

The rifle has 1,670 documented rounds through it with one malfunction––a USGI mag that was not fully seated. The rifle has seen a wide variety of brass- and steel-cased ammo of both 5.56 and .223 flavors. EDIT: Those 1,670 rounds have been fired since I bought the rifle in December 2009. |

I'm very impressed with both of mine. So far the only malfunction I can think of was when I blew some gas rings during hard shooting. I think I got some bad steel, that was at about 600 rounds, so far with BCM rings and upgrade kit things have been running 100 percent. EDIT: Also I've been using nothing but C-product mags with orange followers. Aimsurplus has incredible prices on magazines, I've come away super impressed with the value of these mags. I'd trust them as much as I'd trust my PMAGS. |
