I have a conversion I bought many years ago from Sarco. They said it was a Mil. M261 unit. Every 261 I've seen pics of has M261 Conversion stamped on it. Question is: Do all units have M261 stamped on them? Mine only has a serial number.

if it's one thing about the military they stamp model numbers on every piece of equipment it has. I have never seen a M261 that wasn't stamped M261 when I was in,
