| Has anyone done any building with the CMMG LPKs? If so how are they? I am going to do a 5.45 build but I am on a tight budget and palmettostatearmory has a lower build kit for 149.99 that includes the CMMG LPk. |
| I looked hard at that myself. I ended up ordering a Spike's Tactical LPK from AIM Surplus for $63.30 and free shipping. It still carries Spike's Lifetime Warranty and I picked up an MOE kit from DSG Arms for $99.95 that came with the handguard as well. They are offering free shipping with coupon code FREEUPS99 on orders over $99 until the end of the month. Be sure to add the Magpul MOE trigger guard if you want it, the green ones are cheaper right now because of a sale. Probably evens out nearly to the same, but I prefer Spike's over CMMG any day of the week, plus you'll have handguards for this build or another one. |

A friend and I built three EA lowers a while back with CMMG LRPKs from Aim Surplus. No problems whatsoever. |
