OK I am looking for some advice from the experts on this one. I want a good 16" or 18" barrel that will give me excellent accuracy at 150 yards. I am doing a custom Billet build and am getting over whelmed by all my barrel options. I think I want a bull barrel and flutes/dimples maybe. Money is not a huge issue this is going to be a money pit gun.  So who do I go with? Shillen, Noveske, DPMS. Help I am open to options

I'd just get a medium contour 16" or 18" SPR type barrel. Flutes, dimples, etc are just a waste of money, IMO. The AR doesn't need a huge bull barrel for excellent accuracy at 150 yards.

triburst is correct. 150yds is not asking too much out of an AR. A 16" medium contour midlength will be perfect for you and likely shoot better than you can. I love my Denny's Operator but they are rarely available. A Noveske would be more than adequate for your purpose. DPMS is ok but not in the same class.

Look into:
Noveske
Kreiger
WOA

I think WOA is going to be my pick. But if you have anymore ideas ;et me know. I plan to order it next week.

So many options is why I have more AR's then I know what to do with.
