This looks like a nice new option for the guys out there that run comps. It's kind of pricey at a retail of $149.99 but looks impressive on FA.

Looks interesting, looks like it's trading on the popularity and compensating function of the Triple Tap Brake, might be good lower cost alternative for some folks not needing or wanting to spend the money for the T3.
I suspect many an angry argument to follow between the: "It's not the KAC original, and this and this and this are wrong with it, and it totally sucks because..." and the "it's just as good as the T3, but cheaper, you KAC guys are just Kool-Aid drinkers and sore because you spent three times as much!" crowds. Stuck in the middle will be the quiet minority who are actually willing to evaluate a objectively and without ego.

Hell, if you have the money to drop on a Triple Tap by all means knock yourself out but this looks like a nice alternative. |

Per the MFG, it hasn't been tested with any suppressors yet, and therefore comes with the caveat that they won't warranty any problems shooting suppressed, and it's doubtful that the suppressor manufacturer will either, however they do claim that it is dimensionally identical to the standard A2 flash hider, and therefore should fit in any suppressor designed for that interface, namely the two models listed above.
They do report that they plan to test it with a HALO, however, to see how it functions, and it could very well be a good option. HTH, ~Augee |
