I've just acquired a new to me 20" HBAR Flat top upper on the EE. (Thanks AKvsAR) 
There are no markings on the FSB, except UP and an arrow, near the FSP. The barrel is marked 5.56 nothing else. The upper has M4 above the gas tube port, and a keyhole forge mark. Thanks in advance. |

I think warpig is correct ... pretty sure Oly marked the caliber on their barrels and SS after it when they were stainless From the Olyarms website If the only barrel stamping is "5.56", then the barrel is made of 4140 chromemoly steel

I might be blind in one eye and can't see out the other, but these are the only markings that I can find. |
