| I'm interested in a Colt 6920 or 6940. If I polished the carrier and purchased the LMT enhanced bolt, would that make the gun more reliable? Due to the slickness and less friction? I want to be able to fire 2k plus w/o a weapon failure. |

| buy either, get a spikes buffer, get a high power action spring. the extra inertia will increase reliability more than any other upgrade. also be generous with lube. Synthetic motor oil is really good as it keeps depisits in solution so they dont bind to the gun. CLP is also very good. either one will get you good results. |

I concur with everyone's reply saying that no need for other fancy brand BCG, just lube the bolt well dripping wet and shoot the heck out of it.
Myself I never had any problems from my former and current Colt rifles and carbines in 39 years of owning them. Just got my 9th Colt (6721 carbine) last month, and currently have three Colt, from my long experience with this fine brand I don't expect any surprises. There was a member awhile back tested his HBAR rifle for 10K rounds without cleaning, just lube without a malfunction. |
