I'd like to do a build my own project. If I use Dura Coat or something like it do you spray the inside and outside of parts or just the exposed sides.

To those of you who have done this, what was the most complex part of your build?

Looking to use a mixed bag of parts, does this matter if they're all mil-spec?

duracoat the outside only the stuff goes on very thick, if you can do it I suggest gunkote

agreed. i've used alumahyde II on a couple of my rifles, and when i do the prep work, the finish really works nicely.
