I've got a question and pic request, I'd like to know about the difference in accuracy if a ACOG was mounted on a flat top AR or on a A2? My A2 carbine is by far my favorite rifle. I am thinking about selling on of my A4's and fund a ACOG and a can for my A2.
I'd like to know what models of ACOG work best on the carry handle, pros and cons. And I'd like to see some A2's with ACOGs. |

I agree with 87GN that mounting on the handle is less than ideal. At least with the integrated mount in an ACOG it isn't as bad as a conventional optic, but it still isn't ideal. Here's an example-look at the height over bore of the optic on this rifle: 
Flattops didn't exist yet when that rifle was put together. |
