i am building a mega lower and want to take in into the SPR area, i would like around an 18" chrome lined barrel for longevity over a tiny bit of accuracy. what are my options?
so far im looking at Sabre Defense. i want a good accurate barrel, that will also last a very long time. 1/7 or 1/8 twist. |

chrome lined barrel and SPR don't mix +1 However if you really insist on chrome-lined: Sabre 18" CMV Denny's Operator 16" Get any quality 20" CL barrel cut down to 18" by ADCO. ETA: You might want to read this http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&f=130&t=158390 |

Just buy something like a WOA SPR barrel. By the time you actually wear it out, the cost of a new barrel will be a drop in the bucket compared the the cost for all the ammo you run. this, your not gonna be mag dumping match ammo, either you need the most accurate or most durable... theres plenty of very accurate, durable barrels, but the best wont be chrome lined and are SS. |
