Hey everyone, I am looking for everybodies opinion on my situation. So please, let meknow what you all think I should do...
To finish my build, I need a lower. It can be complete or stripped. I prefer stirpped because the parts I have that will be going into it will replace pretty much all the parts that come with a complete lower. I really want a BCM lower; really really bad want one. But I won't be able to order one until "late spring," due to being out of stock. Can someone tell me when "late spring" is? These come complete and I will not be using the stock, trigger, grip, and trigger guard that come with these. I can get a stripped Noveske blem lower for half the price of a complete BCM, The blemish doesn't matter to me because I am having everthing re-anodized. Plus, I can get it now and I will not be wasting any parts that don't get used. Or, I can go pretty much any type of lower. I really don't know why, but I'm not to big on Spike's stuff. I have never used any of their stuff, but they are running a hell of a sale on "no-marked" stripped lowers. WHat would you guys do? |

... WHat would you guys do? Buy the Noveske and drive on. Is a rollmark really worth the wait and extra cost? As to when 'Late Spring' is, only the people at BCM can tell you what that means the rest of us would be pulling wild-ass-guesses out of our posteriors. So in that spirit I say September 9th! |
| If its something you really want, and you can't get it anywhere else, then suck it up and wait for it. I know it sucks, but when it finally arrives you will be very glad you did. "Late Spring" could be a relative term. Would have to call the company on that one. Good luck with it homie |
| There have been instances where I've waiting in an excess of 2 years for paticular parts or rifles that I REALLY wanted..If the BCM lower is what you want, then I would suggest you wait..OTH, a lower is a lower and as long as it;s in spec, you'l be fine with the Noveske or Spikes.. |
| I personally don't care whose lower I use so long as it's GTG. I currently have Bushmaster, Noveske, Doublestar, Colt, Wilson Combat and Stag. I've been using Doublestar a lot lately because they are readily available locally. All are the same. If the logo matters to you get what you want, I sure wouldn't have the patience to wait on a certain rollmark though. More concerned with the LPK and putting things together correctly. |
