Anyone else with small hands shooting their AR? I have not received mine yet, but I am afraid when I do get it the grip may be to big for my hands. I am a fairly average size guy 6ft @ 200lbs, but ill be damned if I don't have schoolgirl hands

the ar's stock grip is pretty much small. alot of guys change it out for the hogue grip or some other tactical grip that has finger grooves and is large. you may just want to stick with the stock grip for that reason. i changed mine out for that reason i'am 5'11 192lb but i have hugh monkey hands. lol.

Troy is coming out with a new grip that looks perfect for that sort of affliction.

I'm 5'9" with smaller hands and the grips fit very well. You will not have a problem. I have used the stock a2, houges, and the magpul miad. If you don't like the houge go with the miad and put the smaller straps in it.

Tangodown battlegrip is what you're looking for.  My hands aren't very large at all for 6', 270lb so the Tangodown is smallish for me, Ergo too big, A2 just right.

The TD is a well made piece as well, you will not be disappointed.

I have average size hands and the AR grip is really too small. When I grip a standard A2 grip, my middle digit can reach the trigger. I like to have the pad of my finger hit the trigger. I use the biggest grips I can find. Ergo now makes a pretty big grip. I've even wrapped grips with tennis racket tape to make them bigger.

The factory grip should be great.  I would not spend $20 on a different solution.

Agree. But if the finger groove thing becomes annoying a good replacement is Tango Down battlegrip, it's basically the same size.

I'm 5-11 with normal size hands and the A2 is skinny  whereas the Magpul MOE is near perfect.

My 14 year old daughter has no trouble shooting my M4's and tons of Vietnamese did fine as well.
The size of the grips aren't quite as crucial as they are on a handgun.
I think you'll be oik.

I had to laugh when I saw your title small hands. All I can think of is the Burger King commercial with the guy who says I have these small hands. But seriously I don't think your going to have a problem the stock grip is small. My 2 boys have been shooting my AR's since they were 12 years old.

I have small hands and the a2 grip felt too small for me. I went with the Hogue and it's much better if you prefer the grips with finger grooves.

My hands are on the large/long side so I wear XL-L gloves.  That said, I have had a lot of grips and finally settled on the MIAD for both my rifles.  I used the thickest rear section with finger grooves, so the MIAD with the thinnest rear section and no finger groove would probably be a good fit.  The Hogue would also probably work as that was too small for me.

The Hogues can be had for around $10 if you hit the EE.  MIADs, around $30 used.

unless you have carny hands the A2 grip should be just fine.

I have smaller hands and prefer A1s and Ergos.
