I know that the reduced barrel length gives you less fps on carbines when compared to full length rifle barrells, but do carbine-length buffers and springs reduce performance as well?
The reason I ask is because I was looking a Magpul UBR for my 20"inch rifle, but noticed they used the carbine buffer/spring. Current setup;
