Just got my new BCM upper and noticed the BCG came with a crane o ring for the extractor. Should I install the ring? who has/hasn't installed it ?

What upper is it? Unless it's an 11.5" barrel or shorter, and you don't plan on running a suppressor, I would leave it out.

Yeah I noticed that they come with o-rings when you look on their website. My colts dont use a o-ring so I would leave it out.

Take it off, you don't need it. Install it if you are experiencing extraction issues, but on a 16" middy, you really don't need it.

This right here, you shouldn't need it.
