Hello,

I have a postban Bushmaster 14,5 inch barrel with a mini-y compensator. The front sight base on this
barrel does not has a bayonet lug.

How hard is it to install a new FSB with a bayonet lug?

With the right milling tools, and some skills - it's a royal pain-in-the-ass.

It's much easier to send it to Adco and pay what they ask - or better yet sell the barrel and buy a replacement one with a bayonet lug.

Not hard at all. Just throw money at it. Have barrel milled for an adjustable FSB

Yep thats what I would do, send it to Adco and don't look back.

OP probably can't send to ADCO, look at his location.

I would get a clamp on FSB that had a lug.
