Congrats and welcome to the forum! Get some decent mags and ammo, zero it, and master your iron sights. Stick around here for a while and you'll start to get an idea of what add-ons/upgrades you want/need/make sense for you. ![]() Listen to what Hero has said and also take time to read through the threads that can answer similar questions or interests you may have..generally a weapon light and sling would be the first add-ons to consider followed by optics of choice..welcome aboard... |

Take a look at the Picture threads, find stuff you like, go to gun shops and gun shows and check the stuff out in person if you get a chance. There's a lot of good products out there. Don't admit to buying anything made by UTG, NCstar, or any chicom type stuff here. The hazing, shame, and humiliation alone makes it not worth it. Just saying.
Enjoy your new rifle. Keep it clean. Love it and shoot it. AR's are a good platform, and you can go many different directions with yours. For back up sights, check out Troy or YHM, maybe look at the Magpul BUS if you need to budget. For holo Eotech. For Red dot maybe check out the Vortex Strikefire. Magpul furniture and magazines are really good. Just some suggestions of where to look. Oh yeah, get a photobucket account or some such and post a picture. They won't leave you alone til you do. |

| Ah cool. Not a bad looking stick. Maybe ditch that big ass back sight and get one that you can use with optics if you decide to get any. Easy upgrades you could consider would be MOE Stock, grip, and fore end. You can upgrade from MOE to the CTR stock for the friction lock, or from the MOE grip to the MIAD grip for backstrap and frontstrap adjustability. The MOE grip can be had for about 20-25 bucks, the fore end for 30-35 bucks. The back stock is nearly a hundred bucks. The colors you can get rock. If you do upgrade the stock make sure you know whether your tube is commercial or mil-spec. Most of the mil-spec tubes have peaked threads, the commercial tubes have flat topped threads. If you decide to go that route, a quad rail is nice, but not necessary. You can get rail panels for the MOE. |

No it only had the front site, I got that from a friend, he had it on his airsoft i figured it would do the trick
Hehe, yeah. Ditch that. Thats another one of those things you probably don't want to say out loud. You can get a Magpul MBUS for somewhere around $50. |

You have to get a picture hosting account to post pictures. Just sign up for free at photobucket.com or some such. Upload the picture to the hosting site from your computer, then copy the URL of the picture from photobucket, and hit the picture button below the text entry box in th "Post Reply" screen and paste the URL there.
It's cool i'm not hating on you, just get one when you can, at least you got the rifle. I'm building a lower now myself. I have to rathole money for a couple of weeks at least for each component. I'm eating Ramen noodles at work this week because i blew my lunch money on a LRPK. Got the Magpul CTR stock a couple of weeks back. Now i just have to save for the MIAD grip kit and the B.A.D. lever. You'll get there. One piece at a time is all i can swing too. Thats the beauty of an AR. You can't get everything at once for sure. |
| sabre makes a great gun! good purchase. but yea, get a lot of range time with the irons first and get good with them. then a red dot or 1-4x or whatever fits your needs. if your using it for HD or shtf, definitely get a sling and light... if you decide to get a vfg/afg you may want to look into freefload rails down the road. other than that, have fun! |
