This is what I'm looking for. 16 or 18" barrel, 1/7" twist preferred, free float rails (as long as possible) flip up front sights, and reasonably priced. I will be putting this on my S&W lower and selling the upper (knights rails, matech buis, fixed front sight)
I am looking for something new because I shoot using optics 99.9% of the time and I'm tired of seeing the front sight post through my optics. Please let me know if you know any good places to buy or if you see any on the boards for sale or trade. I haven't found any while searching. thanks |

| I was going to do the same thing as you, but keep the 16" bcm barrel. I would look into a MI T12 which is only about 150 and a low profile gas block which could be about 30-50 depending on the brand. So instead of losing out on cash from selling your upper since its used, just keep the upper and spend about 200 then sell the kac rails. |
