| I hope this is the right forum, but I'd really like a price check since the market has been so crazy and I haven't looked at ARs lately. The gun in question is 5.56, has a Spikes lower, Magpul MOE grip and stock, standard front sight on a 16" barrel with an A2 FH, YHM 7" freefloat railed forend with rail covers, VFG (brand???), flat top upper (I'm not sure what brand but just above the foward assist it has what looks like an outline of an "R"), a RRA riser/rear sight, its comes with 5 loaded Pmags and the standard elcheapo AR case. The gun looks to be in good condition with the furniture and half the mags being Coyote Tan. I was one my way to work so I didn't get a chance to break it down, but plan to today. So what would be a good price for this assuming that its in good shape. |
| Haven't bought it yet. Its at a shop used and is still on hold. I can put it on layaway to have my name on it though for when its comes off of its hold period. I plan on looking at it closer today to see about the BCG, possibly ID the upper, more info on the barrel, Com or milspec stock, etc. He was asking $800 or $900. I don't remember which. |

Personally, I think 1100-1200 is too high, especially for a parts gun.
$800 would be a good deal so long as it has a chromed barrel and is in good condition. If it was much more I'd say to just got buy/build yourself a brand new one (DSA upper & lower, BCM BCG etc $640 + rear sight $60 + rail of your choice $100-250 + 10 Pmags $100) or check out AIM's DD XV $999! |
