Ok guys I finally drank the AR kool-aid and I am going to start building my second AR15, my current AR is a M&P 15 M4 which I love shooting at 200 yards and closer. Now I wanting to get a little extra reach so I am thinking about building a 20iner.
So my question is, will a 20in Hbar scoped upper be surface for more of longer rang precision rifle? Right now I am thinking that I will build the 20in upper so I can switch them out until I get another lower built (budget). Second will .223/5.56 be good enough to be a longer range (300-800 yards) knock down power? If not what is a widely available semi inexpensive round that would be better? Thanks Guys Mike |
