I just finished putting together an SPR, took it to the range, and it was having interesting issues.

WOA 18inch  rifle gas barrel
Matched WOA bolt, with blue insert
BCM bolt carrier
BCM upper receiver

The ammo used was Prvi Partizan PPU 75gr Match, Brass cased. I used both a PMAG as well as a GI mag.

Anyways, it was having problems extracting properly. Some rounds would double feed, some would work reliably. I started to single load, the bolt would lock back, but the empty brass would just end up laying on top of the mag.

My guess would be something to do with the extractor...?

Just thinking out loud....
I agree, it sounds like an extractor issue to me. It may even possibly get an ejector issue. If the ejector isn't pushing the casing away from bolt face then there is nothing really forcing the spent casing out of the upper and the extractor would be left holding the case. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Is the ejector stuck back in the bolt? Sound slike it might be extracting ok (if the round is being pulled back out of the chamber) but the ejector isnt tossing the brass out.

Yup, this is exactly what I was thinking.  Is the ejector sticking all the way out of the bolt face so that the end is flush with the forward end of the bolt?  If you take a pin punch or empty casing and push the ejector in, is there good smooth tension, and does it return to the forward position properly on it's own?

Ejector seems to be alright. What else should I look at.
